Promoting the Republic of South Africa’s economic activities to the global maritime industry and to further unblock the potential of the oceans economy (Operation Phakisa Initiatives) – fostering collaborations and partnerships between RSA maritime stakeholders and participating maritime business, organizations and Member States. South Africa aspires to be an International Maritime Centre (IMC) by 2030, a goal enshrined in the CMTP.
